I’m reading a book called “These Happy Golden Years” by Laura Ingalls Wilder. It’s a really good book. I recommend it to everyone that likes historical fiction, or at least someone that won’t kill me if they don’t like it. It’s like the 9th book in a series, so you should read the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th books first. The first book is called “Little House in the Big Woods” by the same author. It’s a really good series. It’s about a girl and her life in like the 1800s. The girl’s name is Laura Ingalls. She’s 16 in the book I’m reading. She lives all around the US. This particular book is about her living away from home for the first time, teaching school, and her maybe falling in love with a family friend.
